Kenaikan harga BBM memang merupakan momok bagi Pemerintahan Susilo
Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) dan Muhammad Jusuf Kalla (MJK), karena dengan
adanya keputusan untuk menaikkan Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) akan
melahirkan permasalahan yang komplek bagi semua bidang. Pada tanggal 1
Oktober 2005 Pemerintah resmi memasukkan adanya kenaikan harga Bahan
Bakar Minyak (BBM) sebesar 50%-80% dengan perincian sebagai berikut
Premium Rp.4500,00/liter, Minyak tanah Rp.2500,00/liter, beras Rp.
3000,00/kilogram.Dengan adanya kenaikan harga ini, sebagai gantinya
pihak Pemerintah berjanji akan memberikan kompensasi sebesar Rp. 10,5
Trilyun Rupiah untuk rakyat miskin. Dana tersebut akan dialokasikan
untuk biaya pendidikan, layanan kesehatan, pembanggunan infrastruktur
didesa tertinggal diseluruh Indonesia.
Berdasarkan latar belakang
diatas maka data dirumuskan perasalahan yang ada yaitu: Bagaimana Dampak
Kenaikan Harga BBM terhadap Konsumsi Pangan dan Non Pangan? sedangkan
Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian adalah: Untuk mengetahui
dampak kenaikan harga BBM terhadap konsumsi pangan dan konsumsi non
pangan.
Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah diduga dengan adanya
kenaikan harga BBM mengakibatkan menurunya tingkat konsumsi pangan dan
non pangan mahasiswa.
Penentun lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara
sengaja (purposive). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan kuota sampling.
Adapun data yang dikumpulkan dari sumber data adalah sebagai berikut:

Dari hasil out put terlihat bahwa Mean
70,570 dengan t tabel 1,66 Karena t hitung 8,770 > t tabel 1,66,
maka disimpulkan tolak Ho artinya ada perbedaan antara pengeluaran
mahasiswa secara statistik pada waktu sebelum dan sesudah kenaikan harga
BBM. Hal ini bisa dilihat pada signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 dapat
disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis Ho yang menyatakan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan
rata-rata antara pengeluaran mahasiswa pada waktu sebelum dan sesudah
kenaikan harga Harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) ditolak, dengan kata lain
bahwa ternyata pada waktu kenaikan harga Harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM)
memberikan dampak terhadap pengeluaran Mahasiswa Universitas ... ...
